Your Dayara Bugyal Trek journey begins from Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. After an early morning meet-up, you’ll start the scenic drive towards Raithal village, which serves as the trek base. The journey covers about 180 km in 7–8 hours, following the route along the Bhagirathi River and passing through charming towns like Mori and Uttarkashi.
As the drive progresses, the scenery transforms from bustling plains to quiet Himalayan valleys lined with pine, oak, and deodar forests. The higher you go, the clearer the mountain views become, offering glimpses of the snow-covered peaks of the Garhwal Himalayas.
Raithal is a traditional Himalayan village located at 2,350 meters, known for its wooden houses, step farms, and warm hospitality. It is the starting point of the Dayara Bugyal Trek, where trekkers are welcomed by serene surroundings and the first feel of mountain life.
